SPARES

History
In 1995 A.I.R. obtained the complete Hunter spares inventory from the Swiss Air Force when they disposed of their Hunter aircraft and donated them to museums, flying clubs and a few individuals world-wide. AIR originally had two ex-Swiss Hunters J-4076 and J-4087, which were operated for 6 years by the V V F in Sweden and have since been sold to the Northern Lights Aerobatic Team in Quebec, Canada where they are flying radar profiling and other over-the-horizon missions for the Canadian Navy, Army and Airforce. Aeromech owns a Hunter J-4073 which is currently being supported by the V V F team in Sotenas, Sweden.

Stocks
The spares inventory consists of 30,000+ line items safely stored in a warehouse near Oxford with all item details and locations listed on the original Swiss database for quick and accurate retrieval.
