Hawker Hunter Mk58
The Hawker Hunter Mk58s were constructed in the late 1950's and early 1960's. This particular Hunter - J-4073 - was built in 1959. It was delivered to the Swiss Air Force the same year.
After a long and faithful service with the Swiss Air Force it was decommissioned along with the remaining Hunter fleet. They were donated to various individuals, flying clubs and museums worldwide.
J-4073 was delivered to the Netherlands and carefully stored and preserved in a Dutch Air Force hangar. It was subsequently placed on the British Civil Register as G-RUUD, and then ferry flown to Sweden as SE-DXI where it is now being maintained and operated by the VVF (Vastgota Veteranflygforening).
The aircraft is in superb condition and is for SALE OR LEASE for air displays; film work; PR/sponsorship; experimental trials and radar profiling.
